A/Prof Tamsyn van Rheenen

Associate Professor Tamsyn Van Rheenen is a Principal Research Fellow and Head of the Mood-Psychosis Spectrum Research Group in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Melbourne. Her research program is focused on better understanding cognitive functioning in mental health conditions on the mood and psychosis spectrum, with a particular focus on bipolar disorder.
In co-establishing ACORN with her colleagues, Tamsyn is excited about forming a supportive community of researchers and mental healthcare professionals that will work together toward a shared goal of improving the functioning and quality of life of people with mental ill-health through a focus on cognitive recovery.
